  • Installation and Maintenance of plant machinery

  • Providing a quick response to breakdowns so as to provide more time for plant availability.

  • Organizing and checking plant spares inventory

  • Planning and Scheduling

  • Evaluate tool drawing designs by measuring drawing dimensions and comparing them with original specifications for form and function, using engineering skills.

  •  Implementation of routine PM checks including vibration & temperature inspections on designated rotating equipment and ensuring logging or recording of all readings; includes preliminary assessment and reportage on as a found condition

  •  Repairs to other static equipment as required – valves, pipe-work, pressure vessels and tanks and such-like.

  • Ensures equipment, materials, and tools are on-hand for work execution. Reports resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework or deferred maintenance as required; also keeping all tasks & activities logged and updated.

  • Supports the Mechanical Engineer; acts in his absence, inclusive of Contractor Call-outs, Work Order Allocation, Material Requisitions, Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

  • All planned maintenance tasks (scheduled & emergent) relevant to rotating and ancillary equipment and emergency tasks.

  • Permitting compliance with safety requirements and liaison and coordination with other Departments as required.

  • Ensures equipment, materials, and tools are on-hand for work execution.

  • Report resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework or deferred maintenance as required; also keeping all tasks & activities logged and up-dated
